Agricultural Process
Sugar cane harvest
Our agricultural practices allow us to harvest the highest quality sugar cane. We manage natural resources responsibly, implementing technologies for efficient field management.
The sugar cane harvest process is a remarkable blend of traditional practices and modern technology, ensuring a steady supply of one of the world’s most essential sweeteners.
Cultivation and Growth
- Sugar cane is typically grown in tropical and subtropical regions. It takes about 12-18 months for the crop to mature.
- We plant sugar cane using stalk cuttings, which are placed in furrows and covered with soil. These cuttings sprout and grow into tall cane stalks.
Industrial Process
Transforming resources responsibly
We transform harvested sugarcane into sugar, molasses, alcohol and energy. The main objective is to recover the highest proportion of sugar and energy present in the sugarcane. The industrial process is based on quality, continuous improvement and high operational performance, while maintaining safe and healthy work spaces.
